Reporting with MBI

Overview

This document explains how reporting features work for Magento Order Management.

Magento Order Management and Magento Business Intelligence

For reporting the full lifecycle of sales, shipments, returns and refunds, Magento Order Management (MOM) is integrated with Magento Business Intelligence (MBI). MBI is the powerful reporting tool for all of Magento Commerce.

As orders are created and shipped, and as returns are received and refunded, these events are sent straight away to MBI. That means MBI can index and report data in the shortest time possible.

MBI Essential Order Management Reports are provided out of the box, providing insight into several key metrics.

Like the integration with Magento Commerce, the MBI reports can be extended and customized to fit your business reporting needs.

MBI Essential Order Management Dashboards

3 dashboards are available out-of-the-box with Magento Order Management:

Date filter

On the top right hand corner of each dashboard page, there is a button “Filter Dashboard” that opens a date range filter tool.

This filter allows changing easily the date range of the full dashboard, instead of using the default date range of each report. To be able to apply this filter, the user must have a write access to the dashboard.
